LITAC-A

 AS

[LITAC-A] is an acrylonitrile styrene copolymer developed by NIPPON A&L with its original polymerization technology. The product shows remarkably improved mechanical strength, oil resistance, weather resistance, in addition the enhanced transparency and dimensional stability available with polystyrene. Its crystal transparency and high surface hardness provides the products finish with a quality appearance. A special grade with blueing is also available.

Excellent dimensional stability
This material features excellent dimensional stability, and is suitable for the production of assembly parts which require high accuracy in size.

Superior mechanical strength The tensile strength,flexural strength,elasticity, and hardness of the material are all at the highest levels among general-purpose resin materials. The strength remains reliable even if metal is inserted in the material.

  

Superior chemical resistance Since the material has excellent resistance to oil and organic solvents, it is widely used for containers for cosmetics, oily foods, industrial parts, etc.

Other properties The light stability and weather resistance of the material is so high that it is used for lighting fixtures and parts in general which are exposed to sunshine or used outdoors.
