Comprising acrylonitrile, EPDM and styrene as principle ingredients,[UNIBRITE] features excellent weather resistance and impact resistance.[UNIBRITE] not only has every good feature of ABS resins but provides a peerless weather resistance. As a result, it offers an optimal choice as a material for outdoor applications. As its moldings can be used unpainted outdoors, its use leads to saving of painting cost and protection of environment from solvents contained in paints. It has been extensively used in making building materials and car exterior parts and highly appreciated.
   
Features
 

Excellent weather resistance
[UNIBRITE] has little change in appearance, such as color tone and gloss, and maintains its excellent impact resistance even after long-term outdoor use. (Depending on the type of pigment used, however, some fading may occur.)

Excellent balanced properties
Compared to other styrenic weather resistant resins, [UNIBRITE] features excellent, high-impact resistance and balanced mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength, and heat resistance.

  

Excellent resistance to themal aging
[UNIBRITE] maintains excellent impact resistance in high temperature applications over long periods.

Excellent ozone resistance
[UNIBRITE] is well suited to applications in mountainous regions or equipment exposed to high levels of ozone.

Excellent processability
[UNIBRITE] offers the same excellent processability as ABS resin, so it can be processed using conventional equipment such as injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding machines.
